【Tsubakiya Coffee Shop on Hanatsubaki Street】 The name "Hanatsubaki" has roots that trace back to the Keicho era. This area was once known as Izumo-cho, a territory of the Izumo clan, and the street was previously called Izumo Street (around the Showa 10 era). Since then, camellias have been planted along the street, affectionately known as Izumo Tsubaki. Over time, this street has come to be lovingly referred to as "Hanatsubaki Street," a name that has now become well established.
