For those coming by public transport From the west exit of Katsura Station on the Hankyu Kyoto Line, take city buses Nishi 1, Nishi 2, and Nishi 5 for about 13 minutes and get off at Sakaiya Ohashi. *By taxi, it's about 10 minutes. From Hankyu Kyoto Line Rakusaiguchi Station, take city bus West 4 for about 7 minutes and get off at Sakaiya Ohashi. *By taxi, it's about 5 minutes. There are also Yasaka buses, Kyoto Kotsu buses, and Hankyu buses. Take city bus 33 from JR Kyoto Station C5 platform for about 35 minutes, get off at Sakaiya Ohashi, then take city bus 73 and get off at the last stop at Rakusai Bus Terminal. *About 25 minutes by taxi From JR Katsuragawa Station, take the city bus or Yasaka bus for about 9 minutes and get off at Sakaiya Ohashi. *Take a taxi for about 7 minutes. For those coming by car ● Meishin Expressway Kyoto Minami I.C. → National Route 1, about 1km into Kyoto city → turn left (west) at Kuzebashi-dori onto National Route 171 → go straight across Kuzebashi towards Watarimotsuhime (Prefectural Route 201) → head east for about 3km ● Horikawa Gojo Gojo-dori → head west on National Route 9 → cross Nishikyogoku, Nishiohashi and Chiyoharaguchi → turn left (south) at Nakayama intersection → turn right at Sakaiya Ohashi Higashizume intersection → cross the Obata River and immediately go left for 50m 2,506 meters from Rakusaiguchi.
