Kyoseian Asahi

This soba restaurant opened in Showa 24 (1949) in Higashi Ikebukuro 5-chome. We have been dedicated to serving delicious soba to our customers every day. After a year-long closure due to the expansion of the tram line, we reopened in Heisei 25 (2013). We are grateful to hear comments like, "I’ve been waiting for you to reopen," and "I don’t need to go to distant places for authentic soba anymore." When asked if the taste is the same as before, many say, "It’s even better now!"

During weekday lunch hours, we offer special lunch menus available until around 13:30 (last order for the regular menu is at 14:30). In the evening, enjoy a stylish adult soba experience with snacks like Itawasa, tempura, and duck dishes, along with a variety of sake and shochu. We also host parties on weekday nights.
