Hankyu Umeda Main Store, established in 1929 as the world's first terminal department store operated by a railway company, is a long-standing department store. Since 2006, it has been undergoing renovations, with completion scheduled for autumn 2012.

Once finished, it will feature a 41-story office tower, fashion outlets, event spaces, and grocery stores, making it one of the largest commercial facilities in the Kansai region. After being closed since September 2009, we are excited to announce our grand reopening with a fresh new look.
