Nishijin Uoshin

A historic ryotei (traditional Japanese restaurant) that follows the Yusoku-style of cuisine, known for providing celebratory dishes for the imperial court. The premises feature a famous well said to have been used by Fujiwara no Teika for tea, as well as a pine tree known from the Muromachi shogunate's Shichimatsu view, showcasing its long history.

Enjoy a kaiseki meal in a serene tatami room facing the garden, featuring seasonal Kyoto vegetables and a balanced selection of ingredients from the sea, mountains, and rivers. The presentation and tableware are thoughtfully designed, making the seasonal dishes a feast for the eyes.
